Your Move
I got back from La Ventana a few days ago. Gear's unpacked. Sand is still falling out of everything. And I've been sitting with something that I want to share with you before February wraps.
Every week this month, I've talked about a different piece of the runway. The concept. The training. The logistics. But I left out the most important one until now.
The people.
The People Are The Point
I've been building Half-Life for about six years now. And if you asked me what the best part of it is, I wouldn't say the foiling. I wouldn't say the travel. I wouldn't even say the waves, and some of them have been unreal.
It's the people.
Hanging with Mike & Carly in La Ventana. Calls with customers across the country who've become friends. Watching two people meet on a trip and knowing they'll stay connected long after the boards are dried off. In La Ventana, a guy walked up to me at the pickleball court and said he'd bought a foil from us. Another one recognized me from the videos. These aren't transactions. They're the start of something.
The interesting thing is, when I put Half-Lifers together, lifelong friendships form. Birds of a feather. It's real. And for six years, I've been the one at the center of those connections. I've loved it. But it's too good to keep to myself.
In 2026, I'm sharing it with you.
What's Coming
We're building something new. A way for you to connect with other Half-Lifers, with instructors and guides around the world, and with the trips and experiences that make all the boring stuff worth it. More on that soon.
But here's what I can tell you right now. The trip calendar is getting dialed in. La Ventana wrapped. Jackson Hole, Maui, the Gorge, Chicama, Costa Rica, and more are on the board. And we're making it easier than ever to just show up and ride. That's our job. Your job is to block the calendar.

La Ventana just wrapped. What's next?
People have been reaching out about trips all month. Some of you are already locked in. If you've been on the fence, here's what's still on the board:
- Maui, Spring: dates TBD (Tow/Prone/Wing Foil and Pickleball)
- Gorge: dates TBD (Wing Foil, Mountain Bike, Golf)
- Chicama: Oct 2026 (Tow Foil)
- Costa Rica: dates TBD (Tow Foil)
- Maui, Fall: dates TBD
We're putting together something new with these trips. More on that soon. But the short version: we want to make it as easy as possible for you to show up, ride, and have the experience of a lifetime without worrying about the logistics.
That's our job. Your job is to block the calendar.
